I have only one regret in my life.

I feel rather lucky that I only have one.  And.   If there's anything to be thankful for this Thanksgiving season it's that I've been fortunate enough to live a healthy life with just one regret.  Without my parents, family, siblings, friends and husband my life would not be as full as it is today.

I've been to Paris. Denied my kids Disney World and took them to real castle.  Lived in a refuge camp.  I've changed my daughter's name, simply because I didn't fancy it.  Dropped everything to take my kids to NYC for them to fall in love.  I visited my mother's childhood home, in Poland.  I've had boring days that made me smile.  And extravagant vacations that made me cry.  And that's just what I've documented, in the last 2 years, of my life online.  I have lived a very blessed life.

Recently, Mocha Momma and ZoeyJane published their "bucket lists."  I am informally joining them and encourage you to do the same.  Bucket list = things you'd like to do before you die. Because nothing says THANKSGIVING like "things I'd liked to do before I kick the bucket" over a dinner of turkey legs.  Ha.  I love conversation starters.

Stay tuned. I have to put some serious thought into my bucket list for I want to continue living a life empty of regrets.  I want to do and see everything, twice.  I will return after a stomach full of my father-in-law's infamous stuffing on Turkey day (at my house, eeeeekkkkk!!!! I am hosting!)  and my mother-in-laws corn souffle.   It's the first time my children will see her in a wig and over some pumpkin pie I will suggest more things we can do together.   Like travel to enjoy the laughter. I will fall asleep adding things to my bucket list.

In the meantime, tell me, what's on your bucket list?

I love this! I may do my bucket list as well. My husband makes me laugh (even in church when I should not be laughing!) and I love him so much for that.

I think about this all the time, and I always end with the same conclusion, if I died today, I'd be fulfilled. I have more than I thought I'd ever have and experienced more than I ever hoped. Truly there isn't one thing I can think of to put on a bucket list. Minus finishing my degree.

Hmmm, this is a good task for me. I need a bucket list. I need something to inspire me, and maybe that list will do the trick.

I must give this a bit of thought - and perhaps it will have to become a post.

I wish I had but one regret in my life. You're lucky.

Traveling is always part of my bucket list...but more importantly, I want to see my children grow to be strong Christians, marry good spouses, and after all that, I would love to have a book published!

My bucket list is so long. I think I add to it every day. There are so many places I want to visit, things I want to see. In a year or two, when our daughter is old enough to begin enjoying it, we plan to jump back on that horse and see the world.

Must be the season for bucket lists! I just posted my "to do" list from a year back ... and tomorrow I have a post scheduled with my new list ...

Is it because new years resolutions are upcoming?

I LOVE the concept of a Bucket List... I think we have the tendency to rush through this life and not take the time to really do the things that FILL our hearts and souls. I will take this on as well and compose my own bucket list in the near future for my blog... I can tell you for sure that it includes MUCH travel - There are soooo many places I want to see - with my family! It also includes publishing the book that currently resides in my head! Have a very Happy Thanksgiving...

I can't wait to see what's on your list. I would have to think about mine. Maybe I'll put some thought into that.

Every once in a while I think about this. Particularly since my best friend died at 29 years old.

The thing I learned most about the kind of thing is, I don't actually know. Honestly, I never put much weight on falling in love- but right this minute, it's probably one of the top 5 things to ever have happened to me. Ever. The things I end up loving the most, that enrich my life the most, tend to be the things that never crossed my mind.

Good luck with your bucket list!
