This week started with fireworks on the beach and ended with fireworks on the beach - throughout it all, I kept pinching myself. Is this my life? Is this really my life? It feels like a constant vacation - all summer long.

Gillson beach fireworks on the 3rd.

There were hundreds of people on the beach and even more boats on the water. This terrible photo doesn't capture the massive crowd that we avoided by staying way back, tucked in a corner of the beach. I was amazed at how many people gathered/sailed for fireworks.

The 4th brought a more intimate crowd to our 'hood. We hosted our very first breakfast on the parade route and this photo captures the way I felt about the entire morning. So much laughter and love. It's now a new tradition - our front lawn is the best place to view a parade.

The afternoon brought my baby bro and hubs together, to plan out the evening.

I adore the relationship they are building together, as my hubs is the only child, and my bro never had a brother. Together they make a fierce team.

There's something magical about fireworks on the beach.

I am sad that you moved away but you are so happy and it comes across in your writing.
Jealous of where you are too. Sounds great.XOXO
