Most likely to be expelled from preschool PDF Print E-mail

Little Miss Bossy spoke like a banshee
tossing out orders left and right.

Along came a pretty Mama,
who sat down next to the drama.

And followed Miss Bossy around.

"I no listen. I da mama."

Tomorrow at preschool orientation I have to explain to her teachers that their two-and-a half-year-old student is a dramatic third child with two older siblings at home. And that. "It's kwilling me bawdly" actually means "I have an ouchy" and that "No way Jose" actually means "No" and that she doesn't really mean it when she says "Da teacher listen to me."

I promise we are working very hard (smothering her with kisses) at home, addressing the drama and the bossiness.

She is absolutely adorable. She reminds me of my 2yo who is very bossy and runs the show at my house. I fear the day she starts JK (next year). LOVE the Hello Kitty outfit (my little one loves Hello Kitty too - its her birthday theme this year!)

Oh Maria. I haven't gotten her to wear normal clothes w/o a battle for months now. Trying to convince her that there are "school clothes"

Love the way little Fifi speaks her mind. And the Hello Kitty leo is too darn cute on her (bet she'll be wanting to wear that to preschool...and not wanting to take 'No way Jose' for an answer ;o)

Does she have the finger wave down? Katie just started that, telling me what to do while waving her finger at me. I have no idea where she even came up with that. I got a suprise of her being with a new teacher this year when she was supposed to just move to PM pre-K with the same teacher. On the questionaire I had to fill out to give the teacher some more info on her, I unfortunately had to write a long letter concerning Katie's "energy" and discontent at being "wronged".

But you see, she is perfect. In every way. And if others can't see that, well, it's their loss.
I have the same birth order; boy, girl, surprise girl (not counting stepson). And that surprise girl is spoiled and does NO wrong.

You might be onto something. She knows how to use a nerf gun very well for a 2 yr old.

Ha Ha HA!

I sent both kids to preschool with a note that said: "not all opinions expressed by this child are those of the parents" and "I won't believe everything (they) say if you don't"

Hee hee... She's gonna rock it.

Pauline, I love this! It made me chuckle. So true. My husband says I've created my monster by smothering her with kisses, hugs and just pure babying her. I don't care. I need to take advantage now that she lets me. Soon enough, she'll starting wiping off my kisses. lol.. Your little one will outgrow this stage once she starts prek. Keep up with your smothering, you're such a great mom!!

Too funny! We had the same issue on Tuesday. I had to "apologize in advance" for my daughter. She honestly does think her name is Snow White!

Too cute! When my youngest sister (the third) was Child of the Day in Kindergarten, the teacher kept asking her to do special jobs. At one point she looked at the teacher with her hands on her hips and said "I am not your maid!" She too had personality and still does :)

I absolutely love that she wears a tutu in just about every photo you take of her. It makes my heart smile & yearn for my own childhood :) And I will now be using the phrase "kwilling me bawdly" as often as possible. My husband thanks you. :)

Drama and bossiness at this age seem to go together like peanut butter and jelly!
And seriously, could she be any cuter?

Sometimes, it's good to be bossy. It's not always a character flaw... when you grow up, they just call you a leader - a mover and a shaker. You tell those preschool teachers that :) Besides, she's super cute.

# Loukia 2009-09-10 22:53
Could she be any cuter? Sigh! She is going to be so loved in school, don't you worry. I think she'll be a happy leader, and the teachers will love her! How could you not? :)
I'm taking my son back to meet his teacher tomorrow before he officially starts JK on Monday. I'm totally worried!! My son is used to getting his way - all the time - so I'm scared he's in for the shock of his life when he starts school!
