Need to lose weight? Get yourself a frosting loving toddler!

"How many calories in a half eaten donut with the frosting licked off by a toddler?"  I asked my trainer this morning, after the first round of barbell matrix.  "None!"  He laughed.

Need to sleep? Get yourself a nickle!

"Wow.  You really slept in late this morning.  You have never slept until 8:30."  I tickled my eldest as he sheepishly entered the kitchen Sunday morning.  "I know.  I finally figured out how to sleep in.  I put a nickle under my pillow."

Need to solve a problem? Listen to your heart!

"So, did she play with you at recess today?  Did you solve the problem?"  I inquired about my daughter's newest kindergarten dilemma, after school last week.  "Of course I solved it.  I listened to my heart and just asked her.  You know what?  She answered."

Thanks everyone for your comments on my grandfather, Stanislaw Karwowski.  Again.  I am forever grateful of your friendship and kind words.

So - if I use a quarter will that put the little booger out for 5 days? Cause I could use a little down time, here. Of course, writing the note for school could be an issue.

I love how your daughter asked her heart, and she answered. She'll be just fine if she always remembers to do that!

Isn't it amazing how kids have so much faith in themselves? We could take a lesson from that.

I just love this, and agree. Isn't it also amazing how kids always seem to remember where enerything is? Can't find your keys? Ask your kid...they know! Amazing!
