Last year, I was an over-achiever and posted a list of my most favorite things in November. This year because of the economy I haven't shopped as much as I normally do; but, I do have many things on my wish list that can help jump-start the economy. I am a good citizen like that. Let's get one thing straight. I am spoiled. Rotten. By my good looking husband. This is the list that I shared with him to guide the man I have been married to and in love with for well over ten years, this holiday season. Extravagant gifts, I know. None of which are linked to (so abnormal for a blogger) because this is truly a list of things I would love to own. I don't ask my family/friends to buy me anything specific because I'm always amazed at their creative gifts. But my husband needs a little inspiration. So, here you go. Take a peek...
1. David Yurman Earrings
Nothing says "I am a thirty-year-old-successful-woman" than the over-priced David Yurman jewelry. A prerequisite for any Sunday brunch at the country club it's something I have craved for some time but never justified the price tag. Needless I know; but, highly sought after... I prefer the black onyx in the middle.
2. Ann Taylor "Diagonal Tiers Skirt"
A most perfect knit mini for $90. What you don't see is that the fabric underneath the beautiful chiffon is a stretchy knit cotton. I tried it on and fell in love because it's like wearing a comfy cotton skirt with some chiffon pizzaz! The skirt fit like a glove and flirted like a .... umm. It looked HAWT.
3. Bordeaux Seamless
This tank is so much more than what meets the eye. It's a layering piece. It creates a smoother silhouette. It's wardrobe perfection. Get it now. Last year I posted about my love for Michael Star's t-shirts (I still love). But for $50 this tank has lasted me for 6 years of harsh "toss it in the wash" wear and it still looks flawless. Much cheaper, in the long run, than a dozen Old Navy camis. I would never ever share anything with you, girlfriends, if I didn't believe in it. The only reason I want another one... is that I need it in a different style.
4. Tiffany & Co. Key pendant
$175. Key to the heart. Much cuter than any pendant I saw Carrie Bradshaw wearing in "Sex in the City." I can imagine this around my neck sashaying around my city. Enough said.
5. Hanky Panky
This company has REGISTERED and TRADEMARKED themselves as the "World's Most Comfortable Thong" people! It's a one size fits all thong with no visible panty lines. For $18 a pair, your husband will thank me. Send all emails to classychaos at gmail dot com. I need more pairs in assorting colors. Buy them now. Trust me.
6. 3/4 length Coat
Mangoshop dot com is a Spanish (from Spain, yo) store that is the American equivalent of J.Crew. Similar prices and similar quality. The coat above retails for $199, only no one knows about Mango. Which means that you will be wearing something that no one else has. Priceless in the fashionista department. I would love a 3/4 length coat that functions well as a dress coat and a casual one.
7. Creed Perfume
If you missed me hugging my Creed Spring Flowers in my latest late night vlog I will spare you the train wreck and explain that this perfume was exclusively designed for Audrey Hepburn and released to the public in the last years. Founded in 1760 Creed is one of the 100 oldest family businesses in the world. Which means it costs way too much money for me to mention but I do need a refill. Ahem. I am all out.
8. Frye boots
Founded in 1863 the Frye company is the oldest continuously operated shoe company in the United States. Frye boots were worn by the Union and Confederate soldiers during America's Civil War. Dorado riding boots is what I have. I have! I don't need another pair of boots but wanted to let you know that they feel like slippers. Slip them on and you will never want to take them off.
9. White watch
Ever since my BlogHer09 fashionista roommate greeted me in her sassy self; I salivated over her white watch. Everywhere I turn now, I see a posh white watch everywhere! Everywhere. Seriously. The white watch is a must-have for this holiday season.
10. Hand-painted/hand-blown ornaments
In true Classy Chaos gift-guiding format I will end with an item from Dom. This one hand painted, hand-designed, hand-blown in Poland. New location opened at Old Orchard Mall just in time for the holidays. I need more ornaments because we got a bigger tree this year.
Happy gifts everyone! What's on your wish list? And don't say a back rub because there must be something that you really really really want.

p.s. it was wonderful to meet you last week! thanks for letting me indulge my silly picture taking side. i blame it on the glogg
PS-for some reason, ever since you switched from blogspot, I have a hard time going directly to your posts from my blogroll. When I go to the main blog, it is cool, but specific posts don't load properly. Is it just me?
I totally want to do a list like this.
and ps. Hanky Pankys ARE super comfy. love love love.
dillards.com/.../...
I think I may invest in some of those tanks, I am tired of paying nearly $20 for them and they stop holding their shape or helping to hold me in...LOL
And if you really, really want something fancy - take a peek at Martin Katz's micro pave stackable diamond bands. Colored diamonds. Pair them with your wedding ring - divine!
I've been eying up white watches, since I can't afford the Chanel J12 I thought I might go for the Toy Watch Plasteramic Watch in white.
I got chocolate brown Frye Carson boots earlier this year and they are as soft as butter. I'm wearing them now!!!
I just did a "2009 favorite things" post too, but it's about stuff I did, more than actual stuff. Ok, there's also a bit about actual stuff there :-)
