My father is going to call me first thing in the morning to ask me why I have a picture of a flasher exposing himself with the caption "show us your privates" on my blog. To prevent myself from having to explain it not once, but twice, perhaps three times over the phone to him, I am going to speak very slowly on my blog.
You. Reading me. Let me know you are real by leaving a comment below. Delurk today. Please?
Courtesy of Greeblemonkey and Rudecactus. Special thanks to Jennifer for the reminder. Join us & post on your blog too!
Start and/or end with a simple "Hi!" If you are feeling talkative, tell me why you come here. Or, let me know you blog by saying, "Hello. I have a blog too" and I will drop by your place. Tell me who you are, in the comments. Perhaps you can just say, "Yo. I'm here." Make me smile all day long on Delurker Day 2010.
Blogging is no fun without the community. I am thankful for each and everyone one of you. Much love to you.
I am incredibly humbled by your comments and inspired by your friendship. I will be donating $1 per comment (cap at 300) to the Haiti relief per USAID. Hoping a CLEVELAND business can match me. |

Yep, its been a whole 2 days but I feel AWESOME that I actually did it!!...and I am doing a 365 project...DeLurker day is a great idea!!
I've been reading you for a while... and keep meaning to try your pickle soup!!
I have been reading your blog for about eight months now. I really appreciate your sense of humour and definitely relate to you as a mom! I am also under the impression that my two girlies have the same names as your two girls IRL, lol.
I've been lurking for a couple months now and I really enjoy your blog. I enjoy your outlook and our children seem to be similar and close in age. I have 1 boy (the oldest) and 2 girls. Your youngest and mine sound like 2 peas in a pod!

I kinda just did a delurking day on my blog today too... how ironic.
And your kids are adorable and cute and I think I might actually want to name my hypothetical future children Fifi and Lola...
Thanks for sharing your stories with us!
Claire
Heather B.
Love your blog, love your style, love your pics.
Have a perfectly perfect day,
Nicole
I have a blog (laurenm83.blogspot.com) and dabble in photography as well. I love the idea of De-Lurking day and think I'm going to use that today, as well!
I also have a blog (lifewithhiggs.blogspot.com) and I'm doing the 365 project on Flickr too!
Happy Delurker Day
Love you and your blog...someday i will find the time to start a blog myself....someday...
Not sure how I stumbled onto your blog but it has been bookmarked ever since
You are too funny and very creative.
I follow you on twitter...not sure if you follow me. Anyway, I don't mean to be a lurker. I am not on most blogs, I just don't comment a lot on "big-timers" blogs. I'm weird. It's cool. Hee hee.
You're fabulous, yo!
"It's not stalking, it's running into you in a predetermind plan of action." (From the upcoming movie 'When In Rome'). You have a wonderful blog and I enjoy your humor!
Here's to a warm Ohio SOON!!
(I would never be brave enough to do this.)
I have three children too, so I love hearing your stories. Makes me feel like I'm not the only one! Haha.
I love reading your blog even though I don't comment very often!
I have one little girl.
Jennifer
Regrettably, I spend a lot of time in my reader as opposed to visiting the individual blogs I actually read. (Time restraints--I know it's an excuse.)

Anyways, love your blog and your photography.
Take care,

Love reading your blog...always entertaining.
I do a family blog (and it is rather lame).
My sons are also about the same age as your girls so it is nice to see some of the commonalities. And I suppose I am secretly planning on being their MIL in the future. We could have gorgeous grandchildren!
www.ourserenity.blogspot.com
My friends are all lurkers too - they often call me or come by and go "OMG, did you read your sister's blog yet, what do you think...?"
I.E Jen sent me a text at 7am yesterday saying "OMG, your grandma is in the USA - love her fur coat!" It was 7 am.
THank you for your blog. Have a great day!
I'm de-lurking and I don't lurk!
Come de-lurk with me, too! I'm donating a $1 for every person that comments to relief in Haiti.
Love your blog!
I'm so not using the flasher graphic because my mother will be all "Molly. Why is there a cartoon naked man on your blog? wtf child!"
I think I'm addicted to your blog!
I'm polish immigrant, firstborn in the house, mother to firsborn son.....
I read your blog because what you write is so true :-)!

Let's see, uhh...I have a blog too! Come visit me! What a cutey idea...thanks for the opportunity!
Thanks for the entertainment!
I am bad about commenting. Esp. right now. But I always read.
I rarely comment, but visit frequently. Your blog always makes me happy, you have such beautiful children and memories with them. I hope to have the same some day!
I'm fairly new to blogging but you can check me out here: thebabytrials.blogspot.com/
That's more than a little intimidating! ;-)
(Actually I used to lurk here every day, but had to take a break from reading blogs. So ... hello again!)
Oh and your photographs are just awesome.
My sites are: kimberbphotography.com
kimberspace.com
Time to put this up on my site...
Thanks for starting my days with a smile, moment of awww, and the occasional snort of coffee. Much love.
I have a blog. It's called Playgroups are no place for children. I hope you'll stop by sometime.
I love reading your blog because its a moment of quiet and rest when I can take a break from my insane busy life and read about someone else's insane busy life!
I'm currently working as a NICU nurse, a grad student, trying to play a wedding (May 1st, 2010 YAY!), AND trying to get my house sold...
so anytime i read your blog it's like i'm looking into the quieter family life i'm SO looking forward to!
Thanks
+ U R a good writer ;-)
I unfortunately never seem to remember to post a delurking post until it's way late in the day.
Thanks for sharing your classy life!
I don't have one (just created an account years ago, so that I could read my best friend's private blog) but I AM on facebook, and we're friends on there. I am all about the facebook

I don't remember it was a year and a half or 2 yrs ago that I first started reading your blog but I kept readin b/c
1. You fascinated me! You live a life similar to mine yet oh so different. I remember the first post I read of yours featured one of your pairs of Louboutons in their dustbag and all I could think was *droooooool* When I grow up can I be like OHmommy??
2.Your photography is beautiful. I adore big bright crisp photos & you never disapoint!
3. You keep it real & I admire that in any mommy blogger. It makes you seem like a real friend as opposed to some untagible celebrity blogger ;D hee!
Hooray for Delurker Day & holy moley you've got a lot fans m'lady!
I love your writing style, I love your classy clothes, I love your stilettos, I adore your kids, I love your photos (yup, been following the 365 project and hoping very much you will do 365-season2!)
I'm from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, which is sunny ALL year long, and when I see your snow, I envy you! The grass is always greener...

This is such a wonderful and heartfelt thing for you to do. I wish you the best.
You are going to be smiling for days ... and have a LOAD of blogs to visit now !!
You "had me at" the spot where you said you were from somewhere in between an Amish Wal-Mart and a Saks ... I wonder if I still have my original email to you about that?
Add my $1 to the pot for haiti!

i delurked earlier this week but wanted to say i truly enjoy reading your posts! im looking forward to more apolonia stories! i used to teach preschool in a predominantly polish neighborhood and i just loved the people, so i really enjoy when you add some polish flavor in! have a great rest of the day and if you like, you can check me out at www.builtinbirthcontrol.com
This is a super thing you are doing God bless you. It amazes me how there are so many that really care and not taking as these people had it bad enough before all this. I bow to you ...
I hope you got the donation...
It's warmed my heart to see the blog community go to work to raise awareness and money for the people of Haiti. I hope that you can find a corporate sponser to help you exceed your goal of $300.
This week we made a donation to the Red Cross International Fund and I am encouraging others to do the same. Let's all get together and help make a difference!
