OK! I admit it! I've been a lurker since November 2009. I was planning to tell you the next time I saw you at Playmatters, I swear! I've recently graduated with my M.A. in Speech Pathology and have been reconnecting with my old SAHM life before I start working. You see, the summer before my youngest daughter began first grade, I decided that I am not the type of girl who can be productive at home all day while the kids are in school. I would be hooked on AMC and the Hallmark Channel in no time! So off I went to a couple of local colleges. I'm hoping to work in a skilled nursing/rehab facility...soon! As it turns out, my girls (12 and 9)don't need me as much as they used to. They now have interests outside of our little family. Your blog reminds me of the days when we went on 4-5 field trips per week with the SECPTA. (Hell, if was going to plan the trips, I may as well take advantage, right?) I also enjoy your Polish recipes...my dad is 100% Polish (American born) and I heard his Babci (Polish born) was a fabulous cook. I'm planning to make the pork and sauerkraut dish for our family's Super Bowl Party. I'm sure it'll be a hit! AND, I LOOOOOVE your photography. You have a gift, plus I can tell that you work very hard - it's not easy, I know! I took several photograpy classes in college. Plus, I agree with you politically, down to the fact that MY husband (like yours) watches FOX News every night, which drives me bonkers.

I've only been lurking for a little while, every now and then I'd see you comment on blogs I read. I was pretty intrigued with your 365 post, I'm just over 100 pictures in, and I'm so impressed you got all the way though! I think it was that post more than your others that got me lurking

I read your blog because it seems like you do such nice things with your kids. I am a new mom in the same area and I especially like reading blogs about the activities you do as a family. Sometimes it seems as though there are not a whole of things to do in Cleveland, but you find such nice events to attend and places to go. Keep it up, so though of us less imaginative can follow, haha!
