When I'm tired, old and no longer hovering over your every move I want you to remember today.
Today. The day when your eyes out shown even the brightest stars above Florida's great earth as you children embraced one of life's most important lessons. An epiphany of sorts, years in the making with my constant nagging, you finally kindaof understood the importance of siblings. My job is done. Only, now I am in trouble.
"Let's take a family vote." I smiled. "Raise your hand if you want to turn the minivan around and get a good night's rest." The husband and I casted our votes. "Raise your hand if you want to move forward to see Magic Kingdom at night and....." Three hands shot up in the air half-way mid voting. Giggle. Giggle. Laugh out loud. Snort. Giggle. "Three against two!" Giggle.... "We won! We worked together and we won."
The twinkle in your eyes, when you children high fived each other and realized that working together could accomplish great things, was heart warming. Naturally out numbered we proudly smiled. "If you three stick together, good things will come. You need to remember this and always support each other."
Which totally back fired when we stumbled across the cotton candy kiosk an hour later. |

I'm so glad you all are having fun.
Hope you're having a blast!
Thank you for the post.
I could kick myself when what I think are good lessons and I pat myself on the back over, turn out to fly back in my face.
