When you have a child who dreams of being a rollercoaster designer you spend a lot of time at places you normally wouldn't visit. I could live without stepping foot inside another amusement/water park. However, it would crush my son's spirit if I ever admitted that out loud. He has been passionately designing water slides online at Disney's "Goofy's Silly Slide" since he was in preschool, moved onto PBSkids's "Whoahler Coaster" in kindergarten and by the first grade he saved enough money to purchase his own water slide designing obstacles around it to increase it's intensity.
The kid learned to read/write by searching the Internet for rollercoasters.
K'NEX roller coasters. THE best toy for future rollercoaster designers.
That's how I found myself one summer day alone with three children at Cedar Point for twelve hours. Twelve hours! With three children! On my own! In an amusement park! Surely there's a Medal of Honor for bravery out there with my name on it. I witnessed my son calculating the angles and counting beams before we reached the front of the line. His curiosity and obvious passion tickled me pink that day. The kid is kinda of into rollercoasters, which is why I jumped at the opportunity to check out Cedar Point's water park called Castaway Bay this past weekend. Disclosure we were given one night and water park passes but all opinions are my own. Turn down your computer volume because my kiddos have a lot to say:
Shot using a Flip HD that Santa got me. Incredible quality, no?

Normally the rooms are $219 (I think) and more. Waterpark passes are each $25 for one day. So the $129 is a pretty good deal. Includes one night and 4 passes good for 2 days.
p.s. what video production are you using (not camera....what program)?? It's adorable.
We've been to a number of waterparks and in my opinion Castaway Bay is a greater starter. It is smaller than the others and the "toddler pool" is centralized - easier to keep everyone accounted for. Also, the security at Castaway Bay was a million times more secure than the other waterparks - had a person at front door the entire time.
As for the movie programs. I have a macbook pro and imovie comes with it. I make all of these videos with the kids. Takes no longer then ten minutes.
Hope that helps.
Loved that game back in the day, but I could never get the engineering of the build-your-own roller coasters just right so I opted for the pre-fab options. I bet your son would LOVE the build-your-own options.
