We are spending much less time doing laundry with the Whirlpool Duet. Not only because "bigger is better" (Cliff note version: what used to take us hours before, now takes us half the time, using half the energy) but also because it's very easy to use. Easy enough for a four-year-old child to figure out.
The Duet dryer works in tandem with the washer to make the entire process more efficient by using faster spin speeds in the washer and sensors in the dryer. What does this mean? It means that while your laundry is washing, the computer sends signals to the dryer essentially having a conversation. "I've done my job!" "It's your turn now!" and the two compromise, cutting laundry time and reducing energy costs.
Such a simple lesson about taking turns and working together. No wonder my preschooler has become the laundress prodigy. It preschool's logic - let's work together to make things awesome.
I wrote this review while participating in a test-drive campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Whirlpool and received a complimentary Whirlpool Duet washer and dryer to facilitate my review. All opinions are my own. |

Cute vid!
May want to leave the washer door open--most front-loaders are prone to mildew if they don't get to dry out before you shut them. Not sure if they've Space-Aged that yet!
Your whirlpool machines make pretty sounds.
