Ever since I returned from India I have found myself saying things like "someone up there is looking after me" and "I must have done something right in my previous life" on a daily basis.

I fell asleep Saturday night grinning from ear to ear, pinching myself wondering what I did to deserve such a beautiful life. It was the night of our annual Halloween party (the unofficial way we say "thank you" to all of the neighbors we can't live without, some of my husband's patients and friends who had invited us over to their homes this past year) and although it was only 24 hours after my homecoming, the kids have spent the last year planning the party and it needed to happen. Old Halloween costumes were sold on ebay to pay for new decorations on ebay. DJs were researched online for weeks and the heart of our home was transformed into a dance floor.

Our family looks forward to filling our home with laughter. We are, after-all, the "Kool-Aid House" I dreamed of.

With the kids a little older this year the party was a smashing success. And just like last year, they've already begun to plan the next party. One thing is for certain and DJ Mike of RC Entertainment (prosumer81 at yahoo.com) will welcome our friends next October. We can hardly wait. Our house was built for love and laughter...

It WAS a fun party! I am amazed at how well your youngest break dances! She never stopped for a minute. I loved the DJ, he had a smile on his face the entire time.

Personally, I think it's YOU that was built for love and laughter - the house just suits you.

We had our annual Halloween party on Saturday too! A house full of about 30 children dressed in costumes and their parents! It was so much fun! Love the idea of the DJ! Looks like they had a blast dancing!

oh so much fun! you are all so lucky to have so many children in your neighborhood! My street is like a ghost town - no kids, no people, I swear - I NEVER see anyone - just perfect lawns, no people. It's weird and horrible!
