UPDATED 4-7-10:  Congrats to JulieBouf!

Here are your random numbers 22  Timestamp: 2010-04-07 17:53:43 UTC

I took the girls to my salon today for a quick bang trim that I desperately needed.

An errand that was supposed to last mere minutes turned into a half-an-hour as the women in the salon flocked towards my girls.  "Oh my, how sweet are your dresses?"  People from every corner smiled.  A dozen of ladies, some mothers some grandmothers, asked me to write down where they could buy something similar.

"Matilda Jane!"

mjdress

"Who doesn't love a compliment?  It makes your day, all day. That is what I want Matilda Jane Clothing to do, make the girl smile from ear to ear. I want her to love what she is wearing and be proud of how she looks. I want Matilda Jane to showcase the sweetness of the child. I try to keep the silhouettes simple for that reason, it's not about the fancy embroidery, it is about the darling girl wearing it. I want your little girl not to fight with you on what to wear, I want her to be comfortable and I want her to be happy! And that is it."  From the Matilda Jane website.

The girls wore their dresses all day long and I caught them twirling around at least a dozen times.  My eldest adored the little apron attached and kept fluffing it up each time she skipped.  The shirts are any mother's dream come true as they are 100% uber soft cotton and tag-less.  In my opinion, the best thing about Matilda Jane clothing is that the whimsical items can be worn with a variety of their items.  Mixing and matching.  So stinking adorable.  See their blog for more photos of cuteness.

I've seen Matilda Jane on little girls before but had no idea they made adult pieces as well.  This is one heck of a comfy hoodie - so soft with just enough feminine touch that you can dress it up for a coffee date or wear it to swim lessons like I did on Saturday morning.  This standard tee is made of softer cotton than my most beloved million-dollar tee-shirt.  The "look" of most pieces has a similar feel to Anthropologie.

Here is the giveaway... I have one limited quanity art-fair knot dress with a pair of coordinating pants for the little girl in your life.  Please leave me one comment per person.  Tweet/facebook this giveaway for your second comment (come back & leave me the link).  Sample tweet: @OHmommy: Matilda Jane little girl dresses. So stinking cute! A giveaway: http://bit.ly/cF5pJh Contest ends 4-5-10.  Good luck!
