I was away this week when "Nanny McPhee Returns" debuted and my kiddos were devastated.  They love checking out new movies and reviewing them.  So, I asked my awesome Cleveland girlfriend (reads my blog but doesn't blog) who has three kids the same age as mine, to attend the special preview of "Nanny McPhee Returns" and give me the low-down.  Thanks to Emily and family I now want to see the movie.

A review by Simone (6 years old):
“Nanny McPhee Returns was very, very, very, very funny!  My favorite part was the flying pigs.  I also liked when the kids went into the city and Nanny McPhee said “I don't like waiting in traffic” and she made the motorcycle fly.  My brothers and I really liked the movie!”


Mom's Review:
In Nanny McPhee Returns a young British mother with three children is struggling to save the family farm while her husband is off at war.  To make matters worse two spoiled city cousins are shipped off to the farm for the duration of the war.  The country and city cousins clash and chaos ensues until Nanny McPhee comes to the rescue.  Nanny McPhee uses magic to teach the children life lessons.  I found the movie quirky and fun with many laugh out loud moments.  While the plot was somewhat predictable, my children found the movie quite entertaining.  Nanny McPhee Returns got thumbs up from our family!
