In June I introduced to you the Best Summer Ever Sweeps hosted by Nestle family on Facebook. Their page is loaded with great ideas from me and fellow bloggers on how to make this summer the best one ever. Have you had a chance to take my "River Wading Challenge"? The comments on that challenge are awesome. I've spent a lot of time browsing all the other ideas to fill our summer days.

Not only are there some great ideas and challenges but there's also some faboulous prizes to be won. Check out the prizes here.

I'm also hosting two giveaways right here on my blog with more prizes. The first giveaway includes:

-  $25 Visa giftcard

-  NESTLÉ Pure Life coupons

-  Jump rope

-  Chalk

-  Beach ball

-  Hard and soft flyers

-  A Lambada catch ball and mitt set

The next giveaway will happen later this month and it's big. Check back soon.

My kids would say going to the water park. I'd say visiting Phoenix for the first time was really cool. Seeing breathtaking homes built into the mountains was so cool!

Our summer has been consumed by moving to a new house but we did make a Sunday afternoon trip over to your neck of the woods to try to find your river wading spot. We didn't wind up at "your" spot, but we found another nice spot and we all had a blast!

I took my daughter on her first road trip to Rhode Island (6+ hours in the car one way) to visit my cousin and his family. We went to the Newport Kite Festival, took the kids to the Ocean (Madaine's first time to the Ocean AND the Beach) and just plain had a rockin' good time.

We went to a cavern to beat the heat! We went underground and saw the most amazing natural rock formations! Afterwards, the kids got to crack open geodes! Love that Black Chasm Cavern!

The coolest thing we have done this summer is decide to go green! We have begun making our own laundry soap which is safer for the environment and allows us to use that water in our "Victory" garden and on our grape vines. We have changed out all of our light bulbs for the more energy efficient ones, have have been canning our own veggies and learning to do more fun and crafty things that are FREE instead of spending money or sitting infront of the TV
